The Authors for Farmers giant book raffle winners have been drawn! Together, we sold thousands of tickets and raised $19,400.11 for Buy a Bale of Hay – Making a difference to Australian Farming Families to disperse to Australian farmers in need. The financial result of this raffle has completely blown me away (truly, I was hoping for maybe $2k) as did the generosity and enthusiasm of the many authors who rushed to donate books, so much so that I had to cap books to 100 and sadly turn away many wonderful, kind-hearted authors who also wanted to donate books to help. I hope we can do this again next year and showcase your fabulous offerings then for another great cause.
